Waterfront dining: the closest thing to dining in the water
Restaurant dining should be more than just going out for a meal. There is an entire experience to be had including great service, but most importantly… ambience.
The old Real Estate phrase of location, location, location rings true when it comes to a positive dining experience. The same meal can have a vastly different emotion attached to it depending on the setting of the restaurant -I’m sure Duck Confit just wouldn’t be the same if it were served in prison instead of our waterfront location.
This is why the team at Crusoe’s on the Lake consider ourselves so lucky to be located where we are at Lake Macquarie Yacht Club. Windows surround the dining rooms looking out across the water. The restaurant spills out onto a huge deck that is nestled in amongst the marina, and diners are only a few feet above the surface of the water. It really is quite a serene place to kick back and share a seafood platter with the sound of the water lapping up against the piers.
Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner the deck is by far the most popular spot for our diners to take their meals or coffee. Some customers have even remarked that the restaurant is so close to the water that they feel like they’re eating out on a yacht.
The restaurant has a number of function spaces that all have views across the water and we have a wide range of catering options for your function or event. If you are interested in hosting a function with us you should contact our dedicated functions manager on (02) 4945 0022.
